Meet Jasmine

I was born and raised on a beef cattle farm in Bowling Green, Kentucky where I learned to barrel-race horses and raise animals (and siblings). I’m half Mexican and half Caucasian and speak both English and Spanish fluently. I studied Business Marketing at Western Kentucky University before relocating to Louisville, KY. Louisville has inspired me beyond my wildest dreams. From the amazing food scene to the eclectic architecture and diversity, the city has motivated me to learn, grow, and explore. We’re very lucky to have an airport in our city making it easy to fuel our travels!

I enjoy food more than most people. I love to cook and food has been such a big part of my upbringing and life since I can remember. Food means family. If people are coming over, we make sure to have food prepared. Food is literally the center of everything I do. It seems to be the one thing that can bring anyone together, for the better.

Hi, I’m Jasmine, and I’m a passionate marketer with a career in creative advertising and an entrepreneurial spirit. I also own a recruiting company called Hidden Talent, where I help businesses grow by finding the right people for their teams.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about discovering innovative brands and finding creative ways to make a positive impact. Whether it’s upcycling, recycling, or supporting sustainable products, I’m always exploring ways to live more thoughtfully. I love connecting with fresh ideas and inspiring people who are making the world a little brighter, one small step at a time.

Although my blood is Mexican-American, my mother (I was adopted, but that’s a whole other story) is from Ecuador, where I’ve been over 20 times to visit in my lifetime. Ecuador is a huge part of who I am and will forever hold a very special place in my heart.

meet christopher

Hi, I’m Christopher! I grew up on the northeast side of Atlanta, Georgia, where my love for history and world cultures first took root. Fun fact: while most people have mixed feelings about the Atlanta airport, it’s one of my favorite places and it’s where countless journeys begin.

In late 2016, I met my amazing wife, Jasmine, and moved to Louisville, Kentucky, shortly after, in early 2017, to start our next adventure together. My lifelong dream is to explore all 8 continents and visit all 195 countries. Along the way, my passion for soccer has fueled my love for travel even more, giving me another reason to connect with people and cultures around the world.

I think one reason I am so fascinated by different cultures is because of my ancestry. One of my favorite situations to be in is when people ask where I am from and I reply with “take a guess”. Believe it or not, my Dad is from Ecuador and 100% Ecuadorian, and my mother is half Caucasian and half Indian. I have been lucky enough to visit Ecuador several times, and it naturally feels like a second home.

I’ve always loved food, but never pushed too much out of my comfort zone until I met my wife. Although I swear Louisville has the best food on the planet, traveling allows me to test that theory all the time.

In Louisville, I work as the Director of Talent Acquisition for an amazing company. Connecting people with their dream jobs motivates me every day. Being an outgoing person and very social allows me to connect with people on a personal level very easily.
